- Fred Meijer Flat River Trail, between Meijer Drive & Baldwin Lake will be closed for 1-2 days to remove and replace 200 feet of pavement. Central Bark Park will be open & accessible from the Beach. Anticipated date of work is early May. Click here for the Patching Closure detour map.
- Fred Meijer Flat River Trail, between Meijer Drive & Baldwin Lake & the Central Bark Dog Park will be closed for 2 days for Trail sealcoating. Anticipated date of work is a week after the patching work is done in mid-May. Click here for the Sealcoat Closure detour map.
- The Boat Launch & parking will be closed for 2-3 days for sealcoating. The anticipated date of work is after the Trail sealcoating is complete, mid to late May. Road traffic will be maintained during the process. Click here for the Boat Launch Closure map.
- The Fred Meijer Flat River from the M-57 bridge at Jackson’s Landing to just north of M-57 & the Fred Meijer Heartland Trail, from M-57 to the Flat River, will be closed for reconfiguration of the trail intersection. Construction is anticipated to begin on May 20th with construction of a new parking area but will move to the trail soon after. Construction could require closure to late July or early August. Advance notice signs will be posted near the date of closure. A temporary detour will cross M57 at the road surface & use the driveway to Jackson’s Landing. Click here for the Trail Hub Closure map.
- Several things will be closed for the Tri Greenville Triathlon. The Baldwin Lake Beach will be closed from Thursday, May 30th at 10 pm to Saturday, June 1st at 3 pm for set-up, event & tear down. All roads near Baldwin Lake, including access to the boat launch & cemetery will be closed on June 1st from 5 am to 3 pm. The Flat River Trail between Baldwin Street & M-91 will be closed to all non-motorized traffic from 5 am to 12 pm.
